InMassage’s terms of service

1. Client information form

Massage treatments cannot and will not be carried out without an up to date consultation form under any circumstances. Massage treatments cannot and will not be carried out if you refuse to give all details/information requested on the client information form. It is your responsibility to inform me about any changes in your health and or medical problems. The client information form must be complete for me to remain within my NZQA scope of practice.

2a: Cancellations

Please give at least 12 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. Family and/or medical issues and emergencies are an exception. In the event of one of these emergencies, please give me at least 2 hours notice.

2b: Late cancellation

If the appointment time you booked ends in a late cancellation status you will be responsible for the full amount of the booked treatment.  This is to compensate me for time lost that could have otherwise been filled with another client.

2c: Late arrival

Appointments start and end on the arranged booked time, not the arrival time. If you are running late please text me on 02108560841. I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment – this will be at my discretion. You will be responsible for the full amount of the booked treatment.

2d: No show

In the event of a ‘no show’, you will be responsible for the full amount of the booked treatment.

3. Payment and pricing

The price of the service will be agreed upon prior to the massage. Payment is to be made to InMassage within 48 hours of the massage.

Late payments (longer than 7 days), are subject to a $10 late fee for every week after 7 days.

4. Pregnancy

Please advise me of any potential pregnancy for the safety of you and your baby.

5. Gift Vouchers
  • Gift vouchers are available to purchase online and in person. Gift vouchers must be paid in full when collecting in person or before we can post it to you or to the address specified by you. 
  • The gift voucher will be credited to the nominated person. 
  • The gift voucher is not redeemable for cash and/or product.
  • When paying with a gift voucher, please mention your voucher when booking your appointment.
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • There are no extensions for expired gift vouchers except for in the case of level 3 and 4 covid lockdowns. Gift vouchers will be extended for the length of time that the lockdown(s) occurred since the purchase of the voucher.
  • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed if there is an appointment time available. Please think ahead for scheduling your booking so that InMassage is able to accommodate the day or time you request.
  • Failure to attend your booked appointment will result in the full value of the treatment booked being deducted from the value of the voucher.
  • Gift vouchers can be redeemed for services and at the normal retail prices only.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
6. Marketing and correspondence

You will receive a reminder text message or email 24 hours before your appointment. You will also receive a confirmation text message or email when you book, cancel or reschedule an appointment through the online booking system. This will also occur if InMassage enters your details into the system manually. You may opt-out of these confirmation texts and reminders.

When you provide your email address to InMassage (e.g. on the client information form or when booking an appointment on the online booking page) you will be added to InMassage’s mailing list. I send an email containing updates and special offers once a month (or less). You can opt-out of these online or by letting me know.
